Muqbil ibn Hadi al-Wadi'i (c. 1352–1422 AH / 1933–2001) studied in the Islamic University of Madinah, then returned to Yemen and opened Dar al-Hadith in Dammaj.

He taught Athari creed and hadith with a stress on authenticity and on staying out of partisan politics. His students spread across Yemen and East Africa.

This archive lists him as a hadith teacher of Yemen, not as a later factional brand.

Legacy

Dar al-Hadith in Dammaj trained a generation of Yemeni hadith students on Athari lines.
