Abd al-Rahman ibn Nasir al-Sa'di (1307–1376 AH / 1889–1956) was the scholar of Unayzah and the principal teacher of Ibn Uthaymeen. He wrote Taysir al-Karim al-Rahman, a tafsir aimed at understanding, not at gathering every qawl.

He taught Hanbali fiqh, Athari creed, and Arabic in the mosque. His small treatises on Tawhid and his fatāwā are still printed with the tafsir.

Students from Qassim sat with him for decades. Ibn Uthaymeen inherited his chair in Unayzah and kept teaching the same books.
