Abd al-Rahman ibn Hasan (1196–1285 AH / 1780–1869), grandson of Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab, wrote Fath al-Majid, the most used explanation of Kitab al-Tawhid in Salafi classes.

Abd al-Rahman ibn Hasan (1196–1285 AH / 1780–1869), grandson of Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab, wrote Fath al-Majid, the most used explanation of Kitab al-Tawhid in Salafi classes.

He taught in Najd and the Hijaz after the first Saudi state’s fall, keeping the Athari Tawhid curriculum in print and in circles.

Legacy

Fath al-Majid is still the standard long Sharh of Kitab al-Tawhid.
