Abd al-Aziz ibn Abd Allah Al al-Shaykh (b. 1362 AH / 1943) succeeded Ibn Baz as Grand Mufti. He is from the family of Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab and teaches the same Athari-Hanbali curriculum of Tawhid and fiqh.

Abd al-Aziz ibn Abd Allah Al al-Shaykh (b. 1362 AH / 1943) succeeded Ibn Baz as Grand Mufti. He is from the family of Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab and teaches the same Athari-Hanbali curriculum of Tawhid and fiqh.

He heads the Permanent Committee with his colleagues and gives the official fatwa of the state on worship and public rulings.
