The Shaykh begins with the hadith of Umar ibn al-Khattab: actions are only by intentions, and every person will have what he intended. He explains that this hadith is one of the axes of the religion, that intention distinguishes worship from habit, and that a deed without a sincere intention for Allah is not accepted.
