Ibn Abi al-Izz al-Hanafi

Ali ibn Ali Ibn Abi al-Izz (731–792 AH / 1331–1390) wrote the most taught Athari commentary on al-Aqeedah al-Tahawiyyah. He was Hanafi in fiqh and Athari in the attributes, against later Maturidi ta’wil.
