Hadith

Ahmad ibn Shu'ayb al-Nasa'i (215–303 AH / 829–915) compiled al-Sunan al-Sughra (al-Mujtaba), among the six books. He was known for strictness in men and for a long residence in Egypt.

His Sunan is used in Salafi hadith study for worship chapters and for its careful isnads.

Legacy

One of the six books; a source for Athari fiqh of worship with a high bar for authenticity.
